Charmaine Ortega Getz is a freelance writer living in northern Colorado, with a BA in journalism, an MFA in prose writing and many years experience in copy editing and writing for newspapers and magazines. She has studied ballet, jazz and Renaissance-era dance and met her husband, Steve, at an English country dance camp. She began studying belly dance with Natasha in 2006 and collects vintage belly dance record albums.
