WHO AM I? A seeker… like most …awed by the mysteries of life….on a journey through a labyrinth of darkness and light…. trying to express unfathomable wonders with words music dance and images. The arts called to me…. and here I am….trying ... to understanding, to heal myself and others around me, to inspire as I am inspired to create beauty, share struggles, pleasure, pain and ecstasy.
Bellydance is the first art that seduced me very early in life. Stripped to it’s core: geometric shapes and movement patterns, it continuously reveals itself to me as the cosmic dance of life … every other art I have cultivated since spiraled out from this one. I dance because I must…. I sing as the universe sings… I am the breather and the breath, the singer and the song, I am the dancer and the dance moving as one.
