The Gilded Serpent presents...

Neferteri

Queen of the Desert!
(aka Ann Lucas)

I have been dancing for four years, two years professionally. I learned the art of belly dancing while living in South Florida, though I always loved the music and the costumes. I have had the rare opportunity to study with one of the best instructors-Ms.Tasha Banat. Had it not been for her, I don't think I would have come as far as I have in such a short time.

I am one of the founding members of the Desert Moon Dancers, along with two other wonderful dancers. Currently we are performing on two coasts. A few of us are in Las Vegas, while the remaining founding member is in Florida.

I have been very lucky in my short career. I have danced at several Middle Eastern restaurants in Florida as well as on cruise ships and for private parties. One of the highlights of my career has been to dance with the "Sexiest Mayor" in the country (so the media says), Mayor Alex Pinellas (he is sexy).

I have taught belly dancing at Broward Community College I am currently belly dancing and giving private lessons in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am also teaching workshops in stage magic for belly dancers. I will be teaching in Las Vegas until May, and then I will be teaching classes in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. If you have any questions about magic or where you get good tricks at a reasonable rate, please e-mail Neferteri.
