I loved how she broke down the  music for some pieces, and for others, talks about the feeling they express.  I was not aware that some of these pieces were intended to go together (on The Soul of Cairo), and Amina answered some of my mind’s questions on why certain songs were labelled in certain ways.  It was also interesting to hear the history behind certain songs.

I can only disagree that I do love Tigi Ya Matigish, but I generally don’t expect compilation CDs to have any kind of order or sense to them.  It makes a good audience participation song if it was meant to be part of a routine.
