		<description>I think some of the &quot;undercutting&quot; and instructors paying their own way is quite simply because the real masters are not valued any more,  and perhaps these people want to pass on what they know at almost any cost. When dancers are more interested in a burlesque workshop or the latest pop n lock combos or hot new prop, why would they pay to learn about Middle Eastern dance from soneone who might make them think or go deeper than &quot;dark&quot;/sexy aerobics?

It makes me sad, and I really don&#039;t know what the answer is. Because it  is true that BD outside the ME is by and for its participants and very much a commodity.</description>
