The 7th Annual Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive & Festival took place on September 10-13, 2009 at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino.\u00a0 The event featured workshops & performances from Amaya, Jim Boz, Sharon Kihara, Suzanna Del Vecchio, Aubre<\/span>, and Frederique<\/span>. The event is produced by Samira Tu’Ala<\/strong> and her team. <\/p>\n

Samira’s Mission Statement for this event:

\nThe Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive & Festival celebrates the cultural, historical, and progressive evolution of belly dance by providing an arena to showcase professional artists, offering study opportunities to students, and using entertainment as an outreach medium to educate the general public about this art form.\n<\/p>\n
