We made it our goal to give every conference  participant the chance to perform, either to recorded or live music from one of  our great local bands. How lucky we were to have some of the best and most  beloved musicians on the New York Middle Eastern scene accompany us at each of  our dinner shows! At Je\u2019bon Noodle House on Friday night we featured <span class=\"artist\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gildedserpent.com\/art28\/mashuqareviewscottwilsoncd.htm\">Scott  Wilson<\/a><\/span> on his multi-necked oud\/guitar\/saz hybrid with <span class=\"artist\">Leni Cohen <\/span>and <span class=\"artist\">Rami  El-Aasser<\/span> on percussion, and on Saturday beatboxer <span class=\"artist\">Pete List <\/span>and guitarist <span class=\"artist\">Rob  Mastrianni<\/span> of <span class=\"company\">Beatbox Guitar<\/span> entertained. For our closing Sunday night party at  the more traditional setting of the Lafayette, <span class=\"artist\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gildedserpent.com\/archives\/musicalinstrumentlibrary.htm#Souren\">Souren Baronian<\/a><\/span> played clarinet  with a complete ensemble: <span class=\"artist\">Haig Manoukian<\/span> on oud, <span class=\"artist\">Mal Stein<\/span> on drums, and <span class=\"artist\">Chris  Marashlian<\/span> on bass guitar.
