The show was produced by dancer <span class=\"artist\">Khani Zulu<\/span> and her husband, tattoo artist <span class=\"artist\">Zulu<\/span>, at the swanky <span class=\"company\">El Rey theater<\/span>. The show&#8217;s theme was &quot;La Nuit d&#8217;Absinthe&quot; which inspired artists to be creative with their pieces. Whether they wore green, used French music, or performed &nbsp;with glow sticks to create a hallucinogenic effect, each performer had &nbsp;a unique way of interpreting the theme.<\/p>\n<p >L.A. is home to many creative fusion dancers and musical guest <span class=\"company\">Fishtank Ensemble<\/span>. This rich diversity was well represented at the Zulu Lounge.<\/p>\n<p >Upon arrival to the theater we were greeted by drummers &nbsp;<span class=\"artist\">Donavon Lerman,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gildedserpent.com\/cms\/2010\/05\/17\/amina-reviews-faisal-cd\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Faisal Zedan<\/a>, Sean Krempa, <\/span>and <span class=\"artist\">Marcos Ferrando<\/span> in foyer.
