Saidi - Can't read the
name very well but it looks like it says Qamer
Kamel (the dancer). It looks like it is lifted
off LBÇ or some Lebanese tv program. Guys
aren't really doing tahteeb as far as I'm concerned,
but they're doing some Egypt styled Saidi stick
dance. On my computer the dances and music seem
to "jump frames and aren't really that smooth.
Seems to be "theater/showtype Saidi"

Amina-"ZAR?
I don't think so! Looks like a very staged Awan/Nubian
dance.
As I said, the frames musically and visually are
jumping so I can't really see it that smoothly,
but the costumes are Aswan/Nubian and the music
is very Redaesque, not "real"?

The Zar by

We
do know that today thousands of women in Africa
and the Middle East use this music to cure all kinds
of illnesses. They literally dance until they drop.

Nubia - OK, this is again what I just saw called
Zar, so I guess the Zar didn't get loaded. Yes,
it's like a very staged Awan/Nubian dance. As I

Debke - Looks like in a closed restaurant or stage
like maybe a rehearsal?? Can't hear the music well
because of the "jumping frame"
effect, but part of it sounds like Ala Daalona -
Palestinian?
