The Gilded Serpent presents
Christy Guenther

A founding member of both Levialora Drum and Dance and of Baltimore’s first tribal troupe, Shivani, Christy Guenther (Bijou) has performed as a dancer, accordionist, and cellist at various restaurants and private parties in Baltimore and Washington, D.C. A music teacher when she is not dancing, Christy stands out due to her connection with young people. She will often ask “smitten” children to join her on stage, making sure that they receive a lot of applause for their efforts. Christy specializes in Turkish, Romany, and Greek style belly dance.
