Eleyda Negrón wrote her first essays and poems at age 13. Winning several awards through high school and college - even her background is Microbiology -writing has always being an important part of her life. After moving from Puerto Rico to Chicago, IL, Eleyda discovered belly dancing. Now she combines her passion for writing with her new found love for belly dancing. Eleyda Negron started studies in belly dancing with Nanna Candelaria and eventually also with Ariellah Aflalo. She is currently studying still with both teachers and is one of the newest members of Maya - a student troupe under Nanna Candelaria's wing.

The difference between a Christmas gift and a workshop though, is that in the worse case scenario, you can always return your gift and change it for something else, but… What do you do with a workshop that didn’t suit you? It can become a waste of time and money for both ends.
