Nadiyah has been involved in dance, music and body conditioning programs since she was a young child. Over the last four years, she spent the majority of her days studying various Middle Eastern and North African dance styles. She has taken numerous workshops and has sponsored a variety of accomplished dancers in workshops including pioneers Aisha Ali, Dahlena, and Shareen el Safy. Nadiyah teaches dance at The Warehouse, in Spokane, Washington and is director of Troupe Shalimar. Nadiyah founded Bellydancers Unlimited, Inc., a non-profit organized to assist dancers with their businesses. She earned a MBA and BBAD from Gonzaga University, and holds an AA degree, a Medical Assisting Certificate, two Arbitrator’s certificates, a Minister’s License, and a variety of other certificates.

When not tending to her dance studies or her family’s needs, Nadiyah engages in local politics currently serving as the Nevada-Lidgerwood Neighborhood Council Chair.
