Janet Jubran has a Master's degree in Medieval European and Islamic History from the University of Washington. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Near Eastern Studies at Johns Hopkins University. Some of the areas of focus for her research include the origins of symbolic behavior, ancient textiles and mythology in the Ancient Near East.
