Residing in Fresno, California, Michelle has been a part of the Middle Eastern dance circuit in the San Joaquin Valley for about five years now. She studies dance with Cory Zamora, who teaches an ethnic, free-style Cabaret technique. Michelle performs with Belly Dancing by Zamora, the professional troupe, and with the Renaissance guild of Zamora's Gypsies.
Michelle is a freelance writer and editor. She recently began designing Web sites in her "spare time." She hopes to use her literary skill to promote Middle Eastern music and dance: "I want to help others acquire a deeper understanding of the ancient, beautiful and pure art form known as belly dance."
