Neena Nour

Beirut, Lebanon, and Beyond!

This American dancer is now living in Lebanon. She has been belly dancing for over 10 years. She performed all over the United States and abroad including Sharm El Sheikh, Cairo, Egypt, and London, England.

Neena Nour discovered her passion for oriental dance in 2001. She grown up in Phoenix Arizona and in her early years where she got her start in dancing. She has taken classes in the United States from a number of great teachers such as Dahlena, Jillina, Zahra Zuhairand Helena Valhos. In 2008 and 2009 she lived in the cradle of the Oriental dance, Cairo Egypt. Where she further her education and was under the wing of Raqia Hassan as well as doing dance contracts. She learned how to dance the style of Modern Egyptian. At 24 years, she moved to Los Angeles and danced for engagements, weddings, and also social events for a number of Hollywood elite including Michael Silverman - producer for the Emmy awards. She has opened up for a number of prominent Middle Eastern singers concerts including: Asala, Ali Al Deek , Nour Mehana, Husam Madania, Houwida, Wafic Habib, Mohanad Muchalah Salateen Altarab, and for recognition events with Samer Almasri, Sawsan Meckiail Bassam Kousa.

Neena now is dancing and living in Beirut, Lebanon. She is taking on the Lebanese style and is performing high profile shows. She is excited to share her stories and experiences with you here on GildedSerpent.com.
