The Gilded Serpent presents... I have been dancing since 1970 and teaching since 1974. My solo employment has been by the Marrakech in San Francisco, California, and The El Morocco in Concord moving later to Pleasant Hill. I have led a dance troup since 1976 and taught extensively in Australia and New Zealand for 5 consecutive years (1987-1991), producing instructional videos and making television and radio appearances. In addition to Belly dance, I continue to teach North African and folkoric styles of Egyptian, Persian, Turkish, and Kaleegy. I have a masters degree in Clinical Psychology and a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy (movement, art, writing, and music therapy).
