Adriane

Adriane is an award-winning belly dancer originally from Los Angeles who has studied belly dance since she was fourteen years old. Adriane is now one of Sacramento's most sought after performers and instructors. She is a showcased performer on the DVD "Al Dunia - Spectacular Belly Dance Performances" from Hollywood Music Center. Adriane most recently won First Place at the 2010 Jewel of the Sierra Belly Dance Competition in the Live Music Category.

Adriane has completed professional intensive trainings with Jillina and Aziza, in addition to Sahra Saeeda's Journey through Egypt Level 1 program on Egyptian dance. She cross-trains with yoga and jazz dance to complement her study of bellydance.

In 2010, Adriane devoted herself full-time to her passion of dance and founded the Henna and Kohl Bellydance Company and Studio. Her goals for the studio are to provide a comprehensive bellydance training program that challenges and encourages students to dance their best.

Adriane's degrees include a BA in Environmental Studies with a Spanish Minor from Oberlin College and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from CSU-Sacramento. When not dancing, Adriane enjoys cooking, gardening and tending to her backyard chickens.
